JONATHAN PYNER

I obtained my bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, majoring in English Literature, with one of my minors in creative writing and forestry. I exercised my passion in language analysis. As an English teacher in the United States, I also taught English at various high schools in the greater San Francisco bay area for two years. During this time, I organized many poetry residencies and facilitated UC Berkeley’s “Poetry for the People” program. As an English teacher, creative writing facilitator, and lover of spoken word poetry (and written poetry), I have helped students accomplish their critical eye by creating space to read and write with purpose. I look forward to working with students to fulfill their goals in SAT and prepare for college.
